18/10/2025 0 Comments Not Just Acoustic!Hello friends, last week I had the pleasure of playing with some new musicians. I set my acoustic rig aside, brought out my orange Gretsch hollow-body electric guitar, plugged it into the Fender Deluxe Reverb amp, and we were in business. We jammed for a few hours playing a mix of country songs like Tennessee Whisky by Chris Stapleton, Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn and some UB40 style reggae! Naturally there was a sprinkling of blues; Eric Clapton and JJ Cale style. My thanks to Christian on bass, Warren on Drums, Keith on the Stratocaster with Fiona and Milli on vocals. Shout out to Bayside Rehearsal Studios. Need a band for your next event? Reach out if you want to add live music to your next event, either me solo acoustic quietly in the background, of a full band. Cheers for now.

Hello friends, I was chuffed to be invited to play guitar at a recent Multicultural Festival in Frankston. I invited mezzo-soprano Milli Merrifield to sing with me on this fun occasion. Our theme was Australian music. We put together a set of all Australian songs and had a ball alternating the lead singing from Milli to me and back again. We played a few songs that aren't in my usual set-list so here is a short list some of them: Home Among the Gum Trees (John Williamson), Let Me Be There (Olivia Newton-John), Way Out West (The Dingos), I'll Never Find Another You (Seekers), Six Ribbons (John English), World of Our Own (Seekers), Under the Milky Way (The Church), Better Be Home Soon (Crowded House), Carnival is Over (Seekers), I Still Call Australia Home (Peter Allen). If you'd like to know how I can help bring live music to your event, please reach out. Cheers Jeremy
Hi everyone. I'm very excited to announce my transition from being a background singer and rhythm/bass guitarists, to solo acoustic performer. Although I have had a ball and learnt a lot playing with amazing musicians over the 40+ years in bands, I'm stepping up to the mic out-the-front. If you'd like Quiet Background Music in your restaurant/bar, or a more Upbeat Party Vibe at your anniversary, celebration or function, I'm your man. I can come along, setup quickly, play professionally, and add ambiance and value to your event. I play family-friendly favourites from the 60's, 70's and 80's with a sprinkling of more modern tunes. I'm in my early sixties, so think of me as the old guy playing old favourites! At a recent outing one of the guests described my singing as "very relaxing", and that was just what I was aiming for at that gig. If you're looking for something with a bit more production, I can bring my Covers/Rock Dance Band and we will fill the dance floor at your next function. Think wedding, 60th birthday, or corporate function. I'm also very happy to play my solo acoustic act at retirement villages and care homes etc.
